How to Start Selling WordPress Toolkit

In WHMCS 8.2 and later, you can easily offer WordPress Toolkit. WordPress Toolkit is an all-in-one management solution for WordPress® installations. It aims to make working with WordPress easier with AI-powered automated updates, easy site migrations, plugin management, theme management, and more. To facilitate this, WHMCS 8.2 introduced a new type of addon, Predefined Addons, that support automation for module-based product addons

For more information, see WordPress Toolkit and Product Addons.

In WHMCS 8.3 and later, you can also sell fully-automated WordPress hosting with no manual steps required. For more information, see WordPress Hosting and Setting Up WordPress Hosting Products.

Set Up WordPress Toolkit

To prepare your server for offering WordPress Toolkit:

  1. Ensure that your servers control panel is up-to-date and that you have the correct license. Some versions of WordPress Toolkit are included by default with the control panel, while others require license changes and incur additional fees.
  2. Take the necessary steps to install, enable, and configure WordPress Toolkit for your server. For more information, see:
  3. If needed, add and configure the server in WHMCS at Configuration > System Settings > Servers.
  4. If needed, go to Configuration > System Settings > Products/Services and create the products that you will use to offer WordPress Toolkit. Ensure that they use the correct module.

Sell WordPress Toolkit

To start selling WordPress Toolkit, perform these steps:

Go to Configuration > System Settings > Product Addons and click Add New Addon.

At the bottom of the page under Predefined Addons, click the desired WordPress Toolkit addon. WHMCS will automatically pre-populate the necessary settings for the addon.

Click Continue.

Go to the Pricing tab and configure your desired pricing.

You can now configure settings in other tabs as desired. Make certain not to alter the module in the Module Settings tab, since changes to this may cause problems or invalidate the addon's settings.

Click Save Changes.

Your selected WordPress Toolkit option should now appear as an addon for applicable products.
