SagePay Tokens Deprecation and SagePay Tokens v2
Opayo (formerly Sage Pay) has announced changes to their SCA and 3DSv2 API implementations that will cause the SagePay Tokens module to cease functioning on or around March 14, 2022.
Users of the SagePay Tokens module must act in order to continue using this gateway.
Deprecation
Because of Opayo's changes, the SagePay Tokens module will cease to function. WHMCS 8.4.1 includes a new SagePay Tokens v2 module to address this change.
- In future versions of WHMCS, we will not ship the previous SagePay Tokens module.
- The SagePay and SagePay Repeats modules are compatible with both the new and old API implementations and will continue to function normally.
Sagepay Tokens v2
Setting up and configuring the SagePay Tokens v2 module is identical to the setup and configuration for the previous SagePay Tokens module. During the transitional period between the release of WHMCS 8.4.1 and the release of Opayo's changes, users can use the two modules in tandem.
WHMCS Versions Prior to WHMCS 8.4.1
If you use versions of WHMCS that are prior to WHMCS 8.4.1, the SagePay Tokens module will cease to function on or around the deprecation date and you must act to resolve this issue.
To continue using SagePay Tokens functionality, you must update to WHMCS 8.4.1 or higher and migrate to the new SagePay Tokens v2 module.
