Troubleshooting PayPal Activation Issues
When attempting to activate the PayPal module via the blue Activate & Configure button or the grey Link PayPal Account button, you are taken to the PayPal homepage instead of the activation and configuration process.
The configuration process is unsuccessful, with the Client ID and Client Secret fields not being completed automatically.
PayPal have advised that the restricted country list was the result of the features and functionality being requested in the onboarding workflow redirect. A change they have recommended has been made to these requested features that should not affect functionality of the module but should enable on-boarding with all of the countries PayPal currently supports.
A hotfix has been created for 7.9.2 only based on PayPal's recommendation which should not affect functionality of the module but should enable on-boarding with all of the countries PayPal currently supports:
